A virtual reality experience that allowed customers to see the benefits of going carbon neutral

Offsetting our carbon isn’t just a nice thing to do once in a while. It’s a necessity. A way of life. A mindset that we all must adopt. And with Shell, now you can.

The challenge was that protecting the world’s rainforest can seem like such a large issue that most people don’t think there is anything they can do in their everyday routine to solve it.

The game plan was to trigger environmentally aware consumers to donate 1p per litre to go towards projects which would protect the rainforest. To do this we brought the rainforest to the forecourt with a VR tour letting consumers and staff walk through the rainforest to see the benefit of your choice.
